5 Celebrities with Veneers Who are Honest About Their Experience
Having a dental office in Los Angeles, we can tell you with absolute certainty that there are tons of celebrities with veneers out there.
Unfortunately, when you look this up online, you’ll most likely find articles making assumptions about which Hollywood stars have veneers.
Does Kylie Jenner have veneers?
Is Margot Robbie’s perfect smile fake?
It looks like Miley Cyrus had dental work!
We don’t do that here.
Cosmetic dental work is nothing to be embarrassed about. In fact, plenty of celebs are candid about using Invisalign to straighten their teeth or to close gaps. And while some people do get veneers for vanity reasons, sometimes they’re medically necessary (e.g., gaps can cause more plaque buildup, which can lead to gingivitis or cavities).
But it’s up to each individual whether or not they want to share their dental work history with the world. So, here are 5 well-known personalities who have been open about their experience with veneers!

5 Celebrities with Veneers Who are Open about Their Experience
First of all, what are veneers?
Veneers are paper-thin “shells” that cover your teeth. Patients typically get these to:
- Achieve an even smile (because of crooked or different size teeth);
- Hide stained, broken, or imperfect teeth;
- Cover gaps in teeth
You’re more likely to see celebrities with veneers if they had permanently stained teeth or uneven teeth in the past. Most well-known stars will opt for porcelain veneers because they last the longest and they look the most realistic.
Here are some examples:
5. Mykie (a.k.a Glam & Gore)
Mykie (a.k.a. Glam & Gore) is a YouTuber based here in LA (we think— does it matter? Mind ya business).
As a famed makeup artist and SFX mastermind, Mykie is no stranger to extravagant looks.
And that includes her teeth!!
In addition to No-Prep veneers, Mykie glammed her teeth with Swarovski crystals on top of her cuspids, which she also had shaped into fangs.
A true dental Glam and Gore mashup!

4. Cardi B
Cardi B isn’t shy about her cosmetic dental work. She opens up about it in an interview, saying,
“I know I’m gonna be more and more on TV. And I know they don’t look right. And I know they got a little… I felt like I was getting bullied…And I’m the type of person, too, like— I’m a libra— that I like to be like, ‘AH-HA! What you gonna say about me now?!’ And it’s like— what can people say about me now?”
Despite dentists offering it for free, she paid her dentist, Dr. Catrise Austin, for her service. And after her single “Bodak Yellow” where she shoutouts her new teeth, Dr. Austin says their business “literally tripled.”
A win for everyone!

3. Hilary Duff
An icon from the early 2000s and today, Hilary Duff echoes the sentiment that it’s not “anyone’s business” that she got veneers (and yet, here we are talking about it— sorry, Hilary!).
In a 2007 interview with the now-dormant Jane magazine, the interviewer asks, “So, the latest news on the internet is that your smile looks different. Is it veneers?
Hilary confirms,
“Yeah, on my two front teeth. I was really sick as a kid and constantly on antibiotics, so my teeth aren’t the strongest, and I kept chipping them on the microphone. One show, I literally spit half of my two front teeth out.
I was in some small town in the Northeast, at, like, the only dentist. It was 6 o’clock in the morning, and I had a whole day of work planned. So they bonded my teeth. Then there was a crowd waiting for me outside. I was so embarrassed….
Anyway, when I got to L.A., I got veneers. But it’s like, why is it people’s business?”
Veneers typically last X years, but in August 2010, Duff had another dental mishap— on her wedding day!
Thankfully, a friend of a friend was a dentist, and she had it repaired.

2. Doja Cat
Out of all the celebrities with veneers, Doja Cat has been the most open about her experience. She actually documents her journey after getting veneers on Instagram Live in June of 2021. The pinned comment says, “i just got veneers”
She tells her audience,
“These are my temporary veneers… And I’ll say somethin’— I hated my teeth. Like there was a point where I kept taking pictures and accepting pictures from people. And, like, smiling was so hard for me.”
In the video, she says she has 10 veneers on the top row (5 on each side) and the veneers on the bottom row. In an interview, she talks about having gingivitis and being excited about getting her veneers.
You can get veneers for medically necessary reasons (which your insurance should cover!), but you can also get them just to feel better.

1. Kylie Jenner
This one is a bit of a teaser, but we just wanted to tell you the official verdict:
Nobody actually knows if Kylie Jenner has veneers.
Every other news outlet reports that Kylie had veneers when she was 18. However, she (and her dentist) are deciding to keep this private.
Kylie, Kim, Kourtney (and the rest of the Kardashian family) all go to fellow Los Angeles dentist Dr. Kevin Sands.
Dr. Sands is respectful of the family’s wishes to keep their medical history private. In one post with Kourtney, he says, “@thezoereport asked me how @kourtneykardash got her smile. That’s a combo of genetics and a secret between patient and dentist.”
As it should be.
Kylie and the rest of the Kardashian clan routinely have their looks picked apart— whether they’ve had work done or not.
For some reason, it’s a big deal.
However, she doesn’t give in to the gossip. Kylie likely understands that beauty is subjective and that the only real thing that matters at the end of the day is how your transformation makes you feel.

How Much Do Celebrity Veneers Cost?
Celebrity veneers cost the same as your veneers! The price of veneers varies. For example, porcelain veneers cost more than Snap-On veneers. It also depends on location and your dentist’s experience!
Is it covered by insurance? Sometimes! As we mentioned, if we can find a medically necessary reason for your veneers, they may be covered in full or in part by your dental insurance.
