Dental veneers in Beverly Hills

From our dental office in Beverly Hills, we are proud to help the residents of Los Angeles achieve their dream smiles. Aesthetic concerns about your teeth might make you reluctant to smile with confidence, and this is when cosmetic dentistry can help. With veneers professionally bonded to your teeth, you can eat, speak, laugh, and smile like never before.

Veneers help to fix several dental imperfections while retaining a natural appearance. If your teeth are stained, crooked, chipped, misaligned, or cracked, dental veneers can help to conceal these imperfections while protecting your tooth structure. We use metal-free porcelain veneers to create a natural finish that looks and feels just like your own teeth.

The veneers procedure with Lasry Dental Clinic

If you’re interested in exploring veneers with Dr. Samuel Lasry, the first step is to book an appointment. This will help us to rule out other treatment options like orthodontic treatment or implants. We believe patients should take an active role in deciding their treatment, so we will give you all of the information you need to make a decision.

The procedure is often completed in two visits. The first visit allows us to take an impression of your teeth to help create the veneers. During your second visit, your veneers are ready to be placed. In preparation for the veneers, the surface of your teeth will need to be reshaped to make space for the veneer material. The veneers are then fixed in place using special dental cement. After the placement is perfected, it’s time to smile with confidence again.

Who is a good candidate for veneers?

If your teeth have gaps, are misaligned, chipped, broken, or discolored, you could be an excellent candidate for veneers. You should have good oral health and healthy gums before moving forward with treatment.

Patients with considerable misalignment might be more suited to orthodontic treatment. For a single tooth, crowns might be more suitable. And if the underlying tooth structure is very damaged, you might be better suited to dental implants.

FAQ about Dental Veneers

Just like your natural teeth below the veneers, your restoration will not last forever. Most veneers last from 10-15 years with the correct care. You will need to brush and floss your teeth as usual. You may need to replace your veneers at some point, so this is something to take into consideration before going ahead with the treatment. Veneers may also have discoloration, so you should consider treatments like teeth whitening to keep them looking bright and beautiful.

Yes, when placed correctly, veneers should feel just like your real teeth. They are not a removable option, so you will care for them just like the rest of your teeth. Brushing and flossing are essential for maintaining beautiful veneers.

Dentists will typically tell you to avoid hard foods that can crack the porcelain material. This includes hard candy, ice cubes, and very crunchy food. You should also avoid very sticky food which can get stuck to your veneers, such as taffy. Removal of veneers should be treated urgently, as the tooth structure below should not be left exposed for long.
