iTero Intraoral Scanner

The iTero intraoral scanner allows us to get a complete picture of your mouth, ideal for treatment planning and predicting outcomes. Digital scans also make it possible to use CAD and CAM to create bespoke restorations such as bridges, veneers and dental implants with a perfect fit.

This scanner is also integral to patient monitoring. Using time-lapse imaging, we can monitor your oral health over multiple appointments, allowing us to detect areas at risk of dental caries and intervene.

Panoramic X-ray – 3D scanner -Dentsply Sirona

A panoramic X-ray allows us to see the complete picture, including your teeth, jaw and sinuses. In addition, a panoramic X-ray is quick and painless for the patient. Bite down on the bite blocker and stand still while the machine rotates around you. The entire process takes around 20 seconds from start to finish.

This type of digital radiography requires a shorter exposure time, which means less radiation. And unlike traditional oral X-rays, you don’t need to have the X-ray film in your mouth. Instead, this is contained inside the machine. This update makes it ideal for patients with a sensitive gag reflex who cannot remain still for a traditional X-ray.
